Shipping policy

Processing time

Orders are typically processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after your payment is received. Please allow additional time during peak seasons or promotional periods. As a small independent shop, all times given below are estimates and may occasionally vary — we'll always let you know if there's a significant delay.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order are calculated and displayed at checkout. Estimated delivery times after dispatch are:

  • Netherlands: 1–2 business days
  • Rest of the EU: 3–5 business days
  • United States and United Kingdom: 7–10 business days

These are estimates and are subject to product availability and any delays experienced by the shipping carrier. We will communicate any significant delays to you.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). Tracking information will usually be active within 24 hours.

International shipping

We ship across the European Union as standard. We're also happy to ship to the United States and the United Kingdom — if you're located in either, please contact us at sako@halcyonmart.com before ordering so we can arrange an exact shipping quote for you.

Customs, duties and taxes

For orders shipped within the EU, all applicable VAT is included and there are no additional customs charges. For orders shipped outside the EU (including the United States and United Kingdom), your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in your order total or shipping cost. We recommend checking with your local customs office for details before ordering.

Damaged or lost shipments

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us at sako@halcyonmart.com within 7 days if your item arrives damaged, or if your order does not arrive. If an item is damaged in transit or lost on the way to you, we will arrange a replacement or refund as required by law.

To resolve this quickly, please keep all original packaging and any damaged items, and send us clear photographs of the damage and the packaging as soon as you can. We rely on this evidence to file a claim with the carrier, so providing it promptly helps us put things right for you without delay. If packaging and damaged goods are discarded, we may be unable to recover from the carrier, which can slow down how quickly we're able to resolve your claim.
